Finding Yourself (2021)
Finding Yourself is an animated documentary that challenges the traditional ways of filmmaking through interdisciplinary practices. This documentary showcases the perspective of four individuals that talk about nature’s influences on themselves, which is used to help spark some positivity and appreciation for the solitude that nature offers. Which serves the purpose of reconnecting them with the outside world, especially during unfortunate times like COVID, developing the awareness for the mental health benefits of hiking along with the physical health.
Animation is used to create a surrealistic view of the landscape that establishes a contrast between the dialogue and the visuals, which helps agitate the viewer into seeking the natural world. The color pallet is carefully chosen to subconsciously create a bright feeling. The rotoscope animation technique used for the documentary guides you through the stories being told making it an innovative approach to documentary making.
During this project, I was the Co-Director, producer, and animator which was very learning fully as I needed to develop skills in storytelling, storyboards, communication, file paperwork, send emails, location scouting, and animation.

Intersection (2020)
This is a project that my team and I created in our second-year university. The project is based on blindness and how it feels to be partially blind. Through research and interviews, we were able to recreate the imagery for the project. This so the audience could understand partially blind people better and understand the struggle in their daily life. The installation is based on a day in the city and park. We were supposed to make the installation as well, but due to Covid, this wasn't possible. Instead, we created a video in which the project is explained. On this project, I did research, as well as producing, finding props, and designing the installation.

Psychedelic experience
(2019)
This 360 video is based on psychedelic experiences. Throughout the project, my team and I Interviewed people and researched psychedelic experiences. We came across that a psychedelic experience in films or videos is artificially created. We wanted to see if it was possible to create an experience by just using techniques while filming. I edited the video, which created a new experience of editing for me which was great. To film with a 360 camera was a new experience and expertise I learned. I was also the producer of this project when it came to filming, props and organizing the shoot days.

Chakras (2019)
Chakras is an experimental film that we created in the first year. The film is showcasing three screens on which the 7 chakras will be portrayed. The chakras are the rise of energy that goes through your body when reaching the stages. The film was set up as an installation when we showcased the film, but we also wanted to create a film that everyone could view on one screen. In this film, I was the producer, props and did location sound. It was an interesting process and I learned a lot while producing. I arranged meetings, divided tasks, did the planning, budget, location, and make bookings.

De Donkere Natureza (2018)
De Donkere Natureza is a project that I created with Paula Moraes. The project is inspired through the darkness. When I was young I would lay in bed and see all these shades and figures being created in my mind. Knowing that there wasn't really something there but the fantasy in my brain created it for me. I also noticed that in the dark, from afar, your brain creates this thought of what you see. Not until you get closer, you realize what it really is. That is what we wanted to create with this project.
