Stories
I like to write short stories. It helps me to relax and get my imagination going. For the last few years, I have been writing short stories for The Wells Street Journal. This Journal is from the University of Westminster out and it is a great journal. On their website, you can visit the journals and read them.

"Breathe In" is the 3rd story I wrote for The Wells Street Journal. The 14th issue had the theme Urban Legends, which resonated with the current situation of COVID happening and the Heroes that we come across. I wrote this story with the thought of being trapped and being anxious. Which I experienced in my life as well. It is complete fiction but in ways, I think people can relate to the character.
"The Resilience" is the 2nd story that I wrote for issue 13 in the Wells Street Journal. The Theme for this issue was 'Disruption in the City. From there I was thinking about what does disruption means and how can this happen in a city. I started thinking about my Grandpa's stories about the war for some reason and that war was a big disruption back in the days to cities. But also for the people themselves. That is how this story came to life.
"A Beautiful Curse" is the first story I wrote and submitted to The Wells Street Journal. That time I joined their creative writing workshops and it was great. It made me start writing short stories. This also gave me the idea for this story through the first exercise we did. The Theme for issue 12 was 'Mapping the City'. I wanted to create a story in which you have to re-read it again to fully understand it but also a creative way to get the 'Mapping in the City' in the story. Through an image that I got from the workshop, I was able to come up with this story.
